How your connection is protected
Keel uses Plaid to link accounts, which means your bank login never touches our servers. Connections are read-only, traffic is encrypted with 256-bit SSL, and you can disconnect an institution at any time from your dashboard. Over 10,000 banks, credit unions, credit card issuers and brokerages are supported.
How it works
Choose your institution
Search for your bank, credit union or card issuer from the Accounts section of your dashboard.
Sign in with Plaid
Authentication happens inside Plaid, so your credentials go to your bank and nowhere else. Keel only ever receives a token.
Transactions import automatically
Balances and transactions flow in and get categorized, and each account shows when it last synced.
Disconnect whenever you want
Removing an institution revokes the token immediately and stops any further data from being pulled.
What Keel can and cannot do
The connection is read-only. Keel can see balances and transaction history so it can show them back to you; it cannot move money, initiate payments or change anything at your bank. Your financial data is never sold, shared with advertisers or used to build a profile, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.
